The importance of short-term training
Duration of training
The duration of short-term training ranges from 150 to 300 hours, which usually takes between 3 to 6 months. After successfully completing this training, trainees are awarded a certificate which is proof of their skills.
Training process
Interested candidates can contact the nearest training centre to apply.
1. Registration: Youth have to first register on the PMKVY portal.
2. Skill Analysis: The initial skills of the trainees are assessed.
3. Training: Training is provided by industry experts.
4. Certification: An assessment is done at the end of the training and successful trainees are given certificates.
5. Employment Assistance: Trainees are provided assistance in getting jobs.
Current Status of PMKVY Scheme
